Vivek Ramaswamy shines in Republican debate, takes away from the establishment candidates.
“I am the only candidate on stage that is not bought and paid for, therefore I tell the truth, “Said Vivek Ramaswamy 37-year-old former Biotech CEO, who is now running for Republican party primary to be the President of the United States.
Ramaswamy, a newcomer to national politics gained some recognition with his book WOKE INC. He was the main target of attacks from the likes of former Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie, former Vice President Mike Pence, and former Governor of South Carolina Nikki Haley.
The 37-year-old Indian American talked about his vision for the country with a youthful exuberance that was missing in other candidates. The current runner-up in polling Florida Governor Ron DeSantis was almost an afterthought during the debate.
Missing was former President Donald Trump who decided to skip the debate entirely and instead sat down for an interview with Tucker Carlson on Elon Musk’s X platform. Trump is leading the field by a wide margin in all national polls.
The next Republican Primary Debate is to be held on Sept. 27th and will be hosted on FOX Business, Univision, and Rumble
