With over 80% of the population doubly vaccinated, we thought Santa was out of the bag but Omicron grinched it again.
Whether you resent, accept or welcome all the latest restrictions on gatherings over the holidays, you have to agree that Santa is confined and cannot go door to door anymore. They say it takes 21 days to break a habit but for us now it has been 21 months since we have had to change our normal behaviors of interaction. Not sure how long it will take to go back to things the way they were before but the definition of gatherings or personal gatherings has changed and perhaps Santa is going to have to find different ways of creating magic albeit from confinement right now.
